DESCRIPTION:\n…….LUNGO IL PERCORSO DELLA BATTAGLIA DEL TRASIMENO – CODICE EVENTO : 5260\nCorreva l’anno 217 a.C. il 21 Giugno; durante la seconda guerra punica, una cruenta battaglia sul Trasimeno vide schierati l’esercito Cartaginese comandato dal Generale Annibale Barca, contro le Legioni Romane, al seguito del Console Gaio Flaminio Nepote.\nAnnibale sfruttando la conformazione delle colline e la fitta nebbia mattutina, inflisse a Roma una delle più pesanti sconfitte delle sua storia, con oltre 15.000 romani morti.
